Mr. Jeffrey Ward has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc effective May 13, 2009. Mr. Ward has over 28 years experience in the mining industry during which time he worked with mining companies around the world. He has a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona, a M.Sc. in Engineering from the Royal School of Mines University of London and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Ward is a Nevada Professional Engineer and Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council in the U.K. Mr. Ward worked with Bamangwato Concessions Limited in Botswana as an Underground Shift Boss, as Chief Mine Engineer with Lithium Corporation of America in North Carolina, as a Special Projects Engineer for St. Joe Minerals Corporation in upstate New York, as an Underground Supervisor at Molycorp's Mine in New Mexico and as a consultant with Freeport- Indonesia. Mr. Ward was the founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ward Mining Company, Kino Copper Company, Cobre Mining Company Inc. and Metallic Ventures Gold Inc.

Mr. Miles Bachman has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc effective May 13, 2009. He has served as President, Chief Financial Officer of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. He has over 15 years of accounting and corporate controller related experience in the mining industry. Prior to being appointed as the Metallic Ventures Gold's Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bachman served as a financial controller for a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation between the periods of November, 2001 to September, 2002 where he was responsible for overseeing all financial and managerial accounting functions and reporting for the Newmont satellite office located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior thereto, between the periods of March 1999 to October 2001 Mr. Bachman served as a senior accountant for Newmont Mining Corporation North American operations where he was responsible for performing cost accounting for process operations and was responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts of the Newmont North American mining operations. Mr. Bachman served as a consultant to Phelps Dodge Mining Company ("Phelps") through the transition year of 1998 to 1999 after Phelps acquired Cobre Mining Company Inc., where Mr. Bachman was previously employed since August 1997 as mine site controller and chief accountant. Mr. Bachman also served in various capacities with U.S. Gold Corporation and Dee Mining Company.

Mr. Richard McNeely serves as Director of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. Mr. McNeely has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Mackay School of Mines at the University of Nevada-Reno, he is a member of the American Institute of Mining Engineers and he is a member of the Engineering Honour Society Tau Beta Phi. Early in Mr. McNeely's career he helped start up the Jerrit Canyon operation for Freeport Gold Company and he then became Project Manager of U.S. Gold's Victor operation in Cripple Creek, Colo. In 1984, Nerco Minerals purchased the Victor operation and Mr. McNeely was asked to stay on. In 1985, Mr. McNeely was Vice-President of Operations for U.S. Gold. Following this, Mr. McNeely became Mine Regional Manager for Western States Minerals and is the Principal of McNeely Consulting. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. McNeely was President and a Director of Cobre Mining Company Inc. Mr. McNeely then became President and Director of Metallic Ventures Gold.

Mr. Blundell serves as Director of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. His principal occupation is that of corporate director. Over the course of the last 5 years, Mr. Blundell has served as an outside director for a number of publicly listed companies, including, Cableserv Inc., Alcan Inc., Kasten Chase Applied Research and Sceptre Investment Counsel Ltd. Mr. Blundell has also served as the Chairman of the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (a crown corporation in Canada) and has served as Vice-Chairman of the Canadian Institute of Advanced Research, a not-for-profit organization. Between 1994 and 2000, Mr. Blundell served as Chairman of the Board for Manulife Financial Corporation. Mr. Blundell also serves as a director of Cabelserv Inc. In 1949, Mr. Blundell graduated from the University of Toronto with a BASc in Engineering Physics and received his designation as a professional engineer in 1950.

Norman F. Findlay serves as Director of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. He has been a partner in the law firm of Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP in Toronto. He is primarily engaged in securities law with an emphasis on public offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions and takeovers. His practice also involves private placements of debt and equity securities, mining law and general corporate transactions. Mr. Findlay has been recognized by LEXPERT as a leading practitioner in the mining finance area. He has acted as lead counsel for issuers and investment dealers in a number of significant financings and M&A transactions. Mr. Findlay is an International Associate of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section, Section of International Law and Practice, the International Securities Transactions Committee and the Canadian Law Committee) and a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. Mr. Findlay received a BA from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Law and Economics and an MA in Economics from the University of Miami and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 1988. Mr. Findlay has served as a director to the following public companies over the course of the past 5 years; Cobre Mining Company Inc. (March 1997 to February 1998), Rentcash Inc. (May 2000 to May 2002) and Rodin Communications Corporation (October 2000 to July 2001).

Mr. Lomas serves as Director of Metallic Vengtures Gold Inc. He is the Chairman and CEO of L.V. Lomas Limited, one of Canada's largest specialty chemical distribution corporations. L.V. Lomas Limited operates sizeable warehousing and distribution facilities in Brampton, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec and Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Lomas is also counsel to the Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP. During the years 1977 - 2001, he practiced law actively with that firm and its predecessors. His practice involved general corporate transactions, public offerings of securities, mergers, acquisitions and takeovers and private placements of debt and equity instruments. Mr. Lomas is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada. He received a BA from Carleton University and an LLB from the University of Windsor Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1977. Mr. Lomas has served as a director of a number of Canadian private corporations during the past 5 years. In addition, he has been a Trustee and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Health Care and Biotechnology Venture Fund.

Mr. Wesley J. Hall is Director of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. Mr. Hall has over 15 years experience in Corporate Governance and Shareholder Communications. Mr. Hall started Kingsdale Shareholder Services Inc. in 2003 and Kingsdale Communications Inc. in 2009, providing shareholder and investor relations communication services. Prior to forming Kingsdale, Mr. Hall was Vice President, National Sales for Georgeson Shareholder Communications Canada, Inc. and prior thereto, Senior Manager of CIBC Mellon Trust Company and Assistant Corporate Secretary at CanWest Global Communications Corp. Mr. Hall is a founding board member of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries (CSCS) and was the CSCS' longest serving President. Mr. Hall also acts as Director for the Limited Market Dealers Association of Canada. Mr. Hall has provided advise and assistance in connection with numerous transactions, including Xstrata PLC's $19 billion bid for Falconbridge, Companhia Vale do Rio Doce's $19 billion bid for Inco Limited, Barrick Gold's $9 billion acquisition of Placer Dome Inc. and Goldcorp Inc.'s $2.4 billion merger with Wheaton River Minerals Ltd.

Mr. Gary Barker has been appointed as Director of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. effective May 13, 2009. Mr. Barker has over 40 years of mining experience. Early on, Mr. Barker studied Electrical Engineering with a later focus and concentration on Business and Labor Management. From 1991 to 2002 Mr. Barker was President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Arava Natural Resources Co., the natural resources division of Mueller Industries. Mr. Barker was responsible for the sale of many of these non-core assets. Since 2002 Mr. Barker has been an advisor to Mueller Industries, which is a publicly traded, New York Stock Exchange listed company.
