Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is engaged in the business of refining of crude oil and marketing of petroleum products. The Company has refineries at Mumbai and Kochi, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bottling plants and lube blending plants. The Company operates through two segments: downstream petroleum i.e. refining and marketing of petroleum products, and exploration and production of hydrocarbons (E&P) segment. The Company’s marketing infrastructure includes a network of installations, depots, retail outlets, aviation service stations and LPG distributors. The Company's subsidiaries include Petronet CCK Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., Bharat Petroresources Ltd. (BPRL), Bharat Petroresources JPDA Ltd., BPRL International B.V., BPRL Ventures B.V., BPRL Ventures Mozambique B.V. and BPRL Ventures Indonesia B.V.
