Citigroup Inc., is a financial services holding company. The Company is engaged providing financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services and wealth management to consumers, corporations, governments and institutions. The Company operates in two reporting segments: Citicorp, consisting of Citi’s Global Consumer Banking businesses, Institutional Clients Group, as well as Corporate, and Citi Holdings, consisting of businesses and assets the Company. Global Consumer Banking businesses includes Consumer franchise across the world delivering banking, credit card lending and investment services through network of local branches, offices and electronic delivery systems. Institutional Clients Group segment provides corporate, institutional, public sector and high-net-worth clients. Corporate, includes net treasury results, unallocated corporate expenses.
