Dr. Khotso D. K. Mokhele has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board, Independent Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. effective Nov. 11, 2009. He served as Independent Non-Executive Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since June 1, 2004. He is Chairman ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited and non-executive director of African Oxygen Limited and Tiger Brands Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, a Masters of Science in Food Science, and a PhD in Microbiology.

David H. Brown is Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since September 2006. He joined the group in January 1999 as Financial Director. He is Director of Zimplats Holdings Limited, Mimosa Investments Limited and Two Rivers Platinum (Pty) Limited and Member of the Executive, Risk Management and Hedging Committees. Prior to joining the group he worked in the information technology sector for four years and Exxon Mobil in Europe for five years. He resigned as nonexecutive director of Simmer & Jack Ltd in December 2007.

Dawn Earp is Executive Director - Finance of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since March 1, 2007. She has been Non-executive director of Rand Refineries Limited. She graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1986 and completed her articles with BDO Spencer Steward. She moved through the ranks to Audit Manager. She joined Anglo American in 1989 as Vice President of Financial Accounting and was transferred to AngloGold Ashanti in 2000 where, later, appointed Executive officer: finance.

Les J. Paton is Executive Director, Executive Director - Mineral Resource of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since August 2003. He joined the group as geologist in February 1975 and has served in the group in various exploration and operational geology roles. He was appointed as Consulting Geologist in September 1990 and Senior Consulting Geologist in August 2000 and to the Board in August 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Shadwick Bessit is Executive - Growth Projects of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since November 2005. He Joined the group in 2002 as a general manager at Impala Platinum. Appointed to the board in 2005.

Thabo Mokgatlha is Non-Executive Director Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since June 20, 2003. He is Non-executive director of Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited. Joined the board in 2003 as nominee of the Royal Bafokeng Nation.

D. Steve Phiri is Non-Executive Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since June 11, 2007. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Merafe Resources Limited. Prior to this he headed up Corporate and Legal Affairs for the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN) and led the negotiating team that successfully resolved the dispute between the RBN and Impala Platinum Limited. Steve is also a member of the Mineral and Mining Board, which was established in terms of the Minerals and Petroleum Development Act. He is a non-executive director of Royal Bafokeng Resources Holdings (Pty) Limited and SA Eagle Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence, Bachelor of Legal Letters, Master of Legal Letters degree and a Higher Diploma in Corporate Law.

Mr. John Michael McMahon has been re-appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd effective Nov. 11, 2009. He served as Acting Chairman of the Board of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since 22 October 2009 to Nov. 11, 2009. He was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director in 2002. He graduated from Glasgow University, Scotland, as an engineer in 1968. He held numerous engineering positions on various mining operations and projects and was managing director of Implats from 1990 to 1998. He was appointed executive chairman of Implats in 1993 and in 1998 became executive chairman of Gencor Limited and non-executive chairman of Implats. He resigned as chairman in June 2002 and continues on the Implats board as a non-executive director. He is also currently a director of Gold Fields Limited, Central Rand Gold Limited and Central Rand Gold SA Limited and Murray & Roberts Holdings Limited.

M. Vivienne Mennell is Independent Non-executive Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since 1998. She is former Financial Director of Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited, Trans-Natal Coal Corporation Limited, Implats and Gencor Limited. She joined the Board in 1990 as Financial Director and re-joined the Board in 1998 as a non-executive director. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an MBA.

Thandi Orleyn is Independent Non-Executive Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since 2004. He is Non-executive director of ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited, Reunert Limited and the South African Reserve Bank. He holds Bachelor of Procurement, a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Legal Letters degree.

Fatima Jakoet is Independent Non-Executive Director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since August 22, 2007. Fatima brings with her extensive board and corporate governance experience and has served on the boards of several listed companies including Telkom and Woolworths. She is currently a non-executive director at the South African Reserve Bank, Metropolitan Holdings Group and the MTN Group (West Africa Region). Fatima is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a CTA degree from the University of Cape Town.
