Company Description
Italtile Limited is a South Africa-based retailer of imported and local ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, bathroom accessories and other related products. The Company operates in four segments: retail, franchise, property, and supply and support services. The retail segment sells tiles, vitreous china sanitary ware and bathroom accessories to the public. Franchise segment deals in the income and costs incurred with relation to maintaining and use of the brand names in the Company. Property segment purchases and rents out properties, from which retail operations and franchisees operate. The supply and support services segment deals with the income and costs incurred in providing procurement, management and secretarial services. The Company operates through two branded national retail chains, Italtile and CTM, each focused into a specific market segment. It operates in Southern Africa through 95 stores comprising seven Italtile stores, 80 CTM stores and 8 Top T stores.
