Initial Project with Common Service Centre ("CSC") Academy in India

Dev Clever, a leading developer of online and immersive career guidance and development platforms, is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned Indian subsidiary and its partner Veative Labs Pvt Ltd have entered into an agreement for an initial project with the CSC in India ("CSC") www.csc.gov.in,

The Common Service Centre scheme is a national government initiative led by the Indian ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.  It is a central part of Digital India, the government's flagship programme which has a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and economy.  With more than 350,000 centres across India, servicing tens of millions of users CSCs are recognised as an access point for many digital services, including healthcare and education. Their ability to deliver essential digital services is particularly important for Indian citizens in rural and remote areas.

Across the 350,000 centres at least 5,930 are dedicated educational academies (CSC Academies) that provide access to digital services for over 2.6m students. They also host employment initiatives and programmes for corporate organisations and partners to connect students directly with future employers.

The initial pilot project (Phase 1) will see the Company's immersive career guidance and learning platform go live in 25 academy centres in early July 2021 and engage 100 students per centre. Lasting 45 days, the pilot will assess the foundation programme of STEM-based immersive learning and careers guidance.

Following this assessment, the CSC Academy and the Company have the option to extend the initial project and rollout to all 5,930 CSC Academies (Phase 2).  During Phase 2, Dev Clever will seek to implement a foundation careers and remote learning service offering, with the opportunity to enter into discussions with the scheme's operators for the deployment of additional, complementary learning modules.

Should Phase 2 be successful, it will provide the Company with the opportunity to agree to expanding the service offer to the broader CSCs and their users.

As part of a wider implementation plan, the Company will also look to enhance the student experience including the introduction of the Indian National Career Challenge, presently anticipated for launch in Q2 2022.  This will provide the exciting opportunity for the Company to engage with local employers and organisations to provide a programme of virtual work experiences and employer encounters to students within all the CSC centres.

Chris Jefferies, CEO Dev Clever, said:

"This initial project with CSC is a significant endorsement of our services from the Indian Government and demonstrates its confidence in our platform and in our ability to bring positive change to its citizens and follows on the heels of our recently announced agreement with Aldebaron.  Whilst we are in the early stages the initial CSC collaboration can provide significant uplift in active user numbers on the Group's core platforms with the opportunity to convert into very meaningful and material revenues for Dev Clever and we look forward to updating shareholders in due course."
