Appointment of Auditor

NewRiver announces that the Board of NewRiver has approved the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31 March 2020, following the conclusion of a competitive tender process led by the Company's Audit Committee in line with best practice.

PwC's appointment, effective from 1 July 2019, is on terms that are subject to approval by the Company's shareholders at the 2019 Annual General Meeting, to be held on 25 July 2019.

Deloitte LLP ("Deloitte"), the Company's auditor for 10 years, has formally resigned with no matters to report. Deloitte's 'Statement of reasons connected with ceasing to hold office as auditor', effective from 1 July 2019, can be viewed and downloaded on the Company's website, www.nrr.co.uk.
