Final dividend for the year ended 14 September 2019

Further to the announcement released earlier today by Associated British Foods plc (the 'Company') of its final results for the year ended 14 September 2019, the Company confirms that, subject to the approval of shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting to be held on 6 December 2019, a final dividend of 34.3 pence per share will be paid on 10 January 2020 to shareholders on the Company's register of members at the close of business on 13 December 2019. The ex-dividend date will be 12 December 2019.

The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ('DRIP'). The final date for receipt or withdrawal of elections under the DRIP will be 17 December 2019.
