Vesuvius plc announces that Friederike Helfer, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp AG with effect from the close of their AGM on 31 January 2020.

This notification is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
