AGM Statement

Ahead of its Annual General Meeting being held later today, the Bytes Board issues the following brief update on trading.

Bytes, one of the UK's leading software, security, and cloud services specialists, is pleased to report that it has made a positive start to the current financial year. Public sector has continued to perform strongly and there are encouraging signs that corporate spending has picked up. Cash conversion has also been strong in the period.

The Board is also pleased to welcome Andrew Holden to Bytes' executive committee. Andrew joined the Company in June as Chief Operating Officer, having relocated to the UK from his previous Chief Operating Officer role at Altron, Bytes' former parent company. His prior knowledge of the business and the management team has enabled Andrew to slot into the business quickly.

Neil Murphy, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"As the last remaining lockdown restrictions are lifted, we are looking forward to returning to a less virtual environment while capturing some of the enduring efficiencies that have emerged over the past year. We expect to see a progressive return to the office, and increased physical sales activity, over the summer months and look forward to welcoming our next new sales intake in September."
