Convening of 2021 Interim Results Presentation

China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") proposes to disclose its 2021 interim results on 29 August 2021. The full text of the Company's 2021 interim results will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism on 29 August 2021 and be available for inspection at

https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism. A copy will also be available on 29 August 2021 on the Company's website at http://www.cpic.com.cn/gdr/gdrggen/.

The Company will convene a results presentation from 16:30 to 18:00 on 31 August 2021 (Tuesday, Beijing time) in order to help investors to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Company's 2021 interim results and operating position. Mr. KONG Qingwei (Chairman), Mr. FU Fan (President), Mr. ZHANG Yuanhan (CFO & Chief Actuary), Mr. SU Shaojun (Board Secretary), Mr. GU Yue (Chairman of CPIC P/C), Ms. PAN Yanhong (Chairman of CPIC Life), Mr. (John) Qiang CAI (General Manager & CEO of CPIC Life) will be present at the results presentation.

Their questions will be answered by the Company at the results presentation.
