Court Freezes Company Accounts for up to

Approximately USD 446,000 in Connection with Labor Claim

 

On 3 September 2021, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that it had received an e-mail from Banco Mariva S.A. informing that the bank had received an order to freeze Company accounts for up to AR$ 45,931,110.07 in connection with a labor claim entitled "Martínez César Aníbal and other v. Grupo Clarín S.A. re: preliminary procedure", pending before the National First Instance Labor Court No. 77.

 

The Company is analyzing with its legal counsel the next judicial instances in order to protect its rights and will keep the public informed of any relevant developments in the case.
