OUTCOME OF AUDIT TENDER
The Board of Leeds Building Society ('the Society') announces its intention to appoint Ernst & Young LLP as its auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.
This follows an extensive competitive tender process that was led by the Society's Audit Committee members, resulting in the recommendation by the Society's Audit Committee being approved by the Society's Board. The appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the Society's auditor will therefore be recommended to the Society's members for approval at the 2024 AGM.
Deloitte LLP (the Society's current auditor) will continue in its role as the Society's auditor until after the completion of the audit for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
The Society, Deloitte LLP and Ernst & Young LLP will work together to ensure a smooth transition process.
