In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, J Sainsbury plc announces that Kevin O'Byrne, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF), listed on the NYSE, with effect from 10 March 2023.

 

As previously announced on 5 July 2022, Kevin O'Byrne will be retiring from his role as Chief Financial Officer of Sainsbury's at the end of the financial year, on 4 March 2023 and Bláthnaid Bergin, Commercial and Retail Finance Director, was named as Kevin's successor. Bláthnaid will start as Chief Financial Officer and join the PLC board on 5 March 2023.
