Supply Agreement to MOD for LiBox
Technology Minerals Plc (LSE: TM1), the first listed UK company focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for battery metals, is pleased to announce that its 48.35% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group Ltd ("Recyclus"), has signed an agreement and delivered its first order from the Ministry of Defence ("MOD") for its market-leading solution for the safe storage and transportation of lithium-ion ("Li-ion") batteries, LiBox.
Under the terms of the contract, Recyclus provided the MOD with its LiBox Li-ion battery storage boxes, which are UN-certified and ADR compliant - the highest global standard for the transportation of hazardous goods. With a 20kWh power rating, the boxes are certified for the safe storage and transportation of Li-ion batteries.
By adhering to the highest global standards, the LiBox not only mitigates the risk of harm to people but also significantly reduces potential environmental impact. Their robust design and stringent compliance measures help prevent hazardous incidents, such as fires, thereby safeguarding both human health and ecological systems.
