British Telecommunications plc
Results for the full year to 31 March 2026 and Re-registration as a
Private Limited Company
British Telecommunications plc announces that its results for the full year to 31 March 2026 have been published.
A copy of the above document has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism
British Telecommunications plc has decided to re-register as a private company limited by shares to help deliver corporate simplification. The re-registration will take effect once Companies House issues a re-registration certificate. At this point the company's name will change to British Telecommunications Limited.
There are no plans to change the public limited company status of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, BT Finance plc, the BT group entity that issues new public debt.
Outstanding British Telecommunications plc bonds are unaffected by the re-registration.
