Travelers Institute Announces Fall 2024 Wednesdays with Woodward® Webinar Schedule

Topics will include employment practices liability, emerging talent and cybersecurity threats

(NYSE: TRV), today announced its Wednesdays with Woodward fall 2024 schedule. The webinar series, hosted by Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, features thought leaders from both the public and private sectors discussing relevant topics for companies and consumers.

  • Sept. 10: “How the Pursuit of Happiness Defines America: A Conversation with Jeffrey Rosen” Jeffrey Rosen, President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Constitution Center, will join Janice Brunner, Group General Counsel and Head of Civic Engagement at Travelers, to discuss Rosen’s book “The Pursuit of Happiness: How Classical Writers on Virtue Inspired the Lives of the Founders and Defined America.” Part of the “Citizen Travelers at the Travelers Institute” series, this webinar will explore what America’s founders meant by “the pursuit of happiness” and how the concept continues to shape the country today.

  • Sept. 18: “Employment Practices Liability Explained: What You Need to Know” Sarah Skubas, Partner with the law firm Jackson Lewis, and Chris Williams, Assistant Vice President of Executive Liability and EPL Product Manager at Travelers, will join Woodward to explore the current trends in employment-related insurance claims, as well as recent legal changes and strategies that employers can use to mitigate employment liability risks.

  • Oct. 9: “Mastering Market Shifts: What Independent Insurance Professionals Need to Know” Charles Symington, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”), and Sean Ramalho, Executive Vice President of Enterprise Distribution at Travelers, will join Woodward for a conversation about the evolving insurance landscape for independent agents and brokers.

  • Oct. 23: “AI in Action: The Future of Risk Management Through Predict & Prevent™”Peter Miller, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Institutes, joins Woodward to discuss his thoughts on the transformative potential of the Predict & Prevent model in risk management and insurance.
