Assignment highlights Bowman’s credentials in large-scale public-sector transportation work

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 22, 2025-- Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: BWMN), a national engineering services and program management firm, announced today that the Will County Board of Commissioners has awarded the company a $4.2 million construction engineering contract for the reconstruction of the Bell Road and 143rd Street intersection in Homer Glen, Illinois.

The $24 million infrastructure project spans 1.8 miles and includes a full pavement rebuild, construction of five cast-in-place and segmental block retaining walls, traffic signal modernization and extensive storm sewer upgrades with underground storage. The project will also include new sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps. Bowman’s responsibilities include full construction management, oversight and documentation to ensure successful execution of these vital transportation improvements.
