Thousands of Charles Schwab Employees Volunteer to Serve Nearly 350 Nonprofits Nationwide
Special focus on financial education as part of Schwab’s long-standing commitment
Designed to be flexible and accessible, Schwab Volunteer Week offers a variety of in-person, on-site, and virtual volunteer opportunities with partner organizations that align with both company and employee values. Additionally, Schwab’s network of community ambassadors – composed of over 180 employees who are dedicated to championing local needs – helps create projects that resonate with Schwabbies and reflect the diverse causes they care about.

This year’s Schwab Volunteer Week will feature various financial education projects as part of the company’s ongoing focus on financial literacy:
- Schwab Moneywise workshops to help young people understand the basics of budgeting, saving, and investing to increase their financial confidence.

Financial education events for teens at
Boys & Girls Clubs of America , simulating real-world financial decisions around careers, income, and managing expenses. -
Collaborations with
Girl Scouts of the USA ,Junior Achievement ,SIFMA Foundation and other nonprofits to inspire entrepreneurship, financial capability, and career development, particularly among youth from under-resourced communities.
Schwab’s commitment to community involvement goes far beyond this focused period of service. In 2024, over 12,000 Schwab employees volunteered 157,000 hours to give back to their communities. Further, the company’s philanthropic programs – including paid volunteer time off, volunteer training, and matching charitable donations – are designed to empower Schwabbies to give back year-round.
