SavorEat Successfully Passes UL Standards Testing for Robot-Chef 2.0 - A Significant Step Toward Entering the U.S. Market

The world's most advanced robotic cooking platform receives a key U.S. industry certification, bringing it closer to the heart of the institutional kitchen

REHOVOT, Israel , June 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Robotics company SavorEat Ltd. (TASE: SVRT) announced today a major regulatory milestone: the UL certification of Robot-Chef 2.0, the company's proprietary robotic system for autonomous, personalized preparation of high-quality meals.

The UL certification was awarded following a comprehensive series of rigorous safety and performance tests for Commercial Electric Cooking Appliances, conducted by Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) accredited to assess compliance with UL standards. The certification confirms that Chef-Robot 2.0 meets the highest safety and operational standards required for commercial use in the U.S. foodservice industry.

This certification joins a growing list of prestigious certificates received by SavorEat, including NSF and EMC, completing the regulatory foundation required for deploying the system in the U.S. market.

According to Rachel Vizman, Founder & CEO of SavorEat: "Receiving UL certification is not just a regulatory achievement—it's a strategic milestone that transitions us from R&D into commercial reality. In a time filled with uncertainty, we're proud to deliver a tech breakthrough that touches on robotics, food, creativity, and joy. Our Robot-Chef doesn't just cook—it meets one of the most basic human needs: high-quality, personalized food at the push of a button, while reducing operational costs."

The compact and rapid robotic system is designed to prepare a wide range of delicious dishes - from mains to sides and even desserts, ensuring hygiene and personal adaptation to each diner's preferences.

The system can easily be deployed in a variety of environments - from healthcare and education institutions to large-scale foodservice chains."

The company recently began live demonstrations for potential partners at its Chicago hub, as part of its preparations for commercial rollout in 2025.

SavorEat  is currently engaging with strategic and technology partners to support its international expansion.

"Amid all the challenges, this is a moment of hope—innovation that's literally landing on our plates," concludes Vizman.
