Schindler will be the sole provider of all the elevators and escalators for the first line of Bogotá’s new elevated railway system. Line 1 of the Bogotá Metro will have 16 elevated stations distributed over 23.9 kilometers and is projected to transport over one million passengers per day by 2028. Line 1 of the Bogotá Metro will be the Colombian capital’s first metro system, providing its citizens with a fast, reliable, and modern transit service.
