UL Solutions issued a public notice regarding electric scooters, product models AS-STR280, GT08, M1, M2 Plus, M3 Max, M6 Pro and Z2, which bear unauthorized UL certification marks and may pose safety risks.

These products have not been evaluated by UL Solutions to the appropriate safety standards, and it is unknown whether they meet any safety requirements. UL Solutions recommends that these products be removed from service.

The model AS-STR280 may display the name “Alpha Z3,” and the model GT08 may display the name “Alpha E-Bike.” These electric scooter models were sold at various electronics stores in New Jersey and online. The products bear unauthorized UL Marks on a black label with white lettering and the following:

The products bear unauthorized UL Marks on a silver, mylar-type label and the following:
