Significant event to be reported:
OMV Petrom signed the main contract for Neptun Deep infrastructure development
Reporting in accordance with article 234 paragraph (1) letter i) of the Regulation no. 5/2018
OMV Petrom SA ("OMV Petrom") is herewith reporting the signing of a contract with Saipem S.p.A. and Saipem Romania SRL ("Saipem"), whose value exceeds 10% of OMV Petrom turnover for the year 2022. Within the contract framework, Saipem will provide management, engineering, procurement, fabrication, assembly, maritime transportation, installation, testing and commissioning services for the offshore facilities of the project.
In addition, the contract includes the testing and commissioning of the gas metering station and the near shore and onshore sections of the gas production pipeline, which will be built by other contractors.
The contract has a total estimated value of approximately EUR 1.6 bn, which will be equally split between OMV Petrom and Romgaz Black Sea Limited as partners in the Operating Agreement for the development of Neptun Deep project.
