AGM Statement
Netcall plc (AIM:NET), a leading provider of intelligent automation and customer engagement software, provides the following update ahead of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held at 10.30am today.
The Board is pleased to confirm that positive trading momentum has continued in the first half of FY24, in line with management expectations. The Group continues to see increasing demand for its Liberty Cloud solutions, including strong uptake from new customers, driving double-digit growth in Annual Contract Value ("ACV") and robust profitability.
The increased interest in cloud-based contact centre solutions has continued from the prior year and the Group's previously announced accelerated investment into this offering has commenced, with the first cloud contact centre customers now successfully migrated and live within a single public cloud environment.
The Group's strong pipeline and healthy balance sheet, together with an innovative product road map, including investment in artificial intelligence and intelligent automation to serve a growing market, underpin the Board's confidence in the Group's continuing success.
Following the close of the meeting, several of the Board changes announced on 20 November 2023 will come into effect: Tamer Ozmen (Non-Executive Director) will step down from the Board and Nigel Halkes (Non-Executive Director) and Richard Hughes (CFO) will be co-opted to the Board. The changes to the Chair and CEO roles announced on 20 November 2023 will take effect from 1 January 2024. In addition, as previously announced, Michael Neville will retire from the Board on 29 February 2024.
