Amaroq Ltd, formerly Amaroq Minerals Ltd., is a mining company with a substantial land package of gold and strategic mineral assets in Southern Greenland. It is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. Its principal asset is a 100% interest in the Nalunaq Gold mine. It has a portfolio of gold and strategic metal assets in Southern Greenland, covering the two known gold belts in the region as well as advanced exploration projects at Stendalen and the Sava Copper Belt exploring for strategic metals, such as copper, nickel, rare earths and other minerals. The Nalunaq gold mine is located about 30 kilometers (km) northeast of Nanortalik. Its Nanoq Project is located in Southeast Greenland, along the Nanortalik Gold Belt. Its Vagar Ridge gold project covers the majority of the Niaqornaarsuk Peninsula as well as the immediate surroundings of the Nalunaq Gold Mine. Its license portfolio covers an area of about 6,800.1 square kilometers in South Greenland.
