Its sales, marketing and research activities are organized into three global market sectors: consumer care, life sciences, and industrial specialties. Its consumer care sector's business units comprise beauty actives, fragrances and flavors, beauty care, and home care. The Company's life sciences sector's business units comprise agriculture (crop protection and seed enhancement) and pharma. The crop protection unit offers ingredients that improve performance and delivery of crop formulations. The pharma comprises drug delivery, providing excipients and adjuvants for drugs through synthesis, purification, formulation and application technology. Seed enhancement is a technology used to improve germination, stimulate the development of seeds and increase crop yields.
