About the company

Southern Palladium Limited is an Australia-based platinum group metal (PGM) company. The main business activity of the Company is the advancement of Bengwenyama PGM project, located in South Africa. The Bengwenyama Project is a large shallow advanced exploration and pre-development PGM opportunity situated on the Eastern Limb of the Bushveld Complex and south of the Anglo Platinum Modikwa property. The Project lies approximately five km west of the village of Steelpoort, 20 km west-southwest of the larger town of Burgersfort, and 250 km east-northeast of Pretoria. The Project has a total areal extent of 5,279.74 ha. Two economic reefs, the Merensky and UG2 reefs, occur on the Properties, which extends from surface to a depth of 1,100m over 10 km downdip. Both these reefs are primary economic deposits exploited by other platinum mining companies for a Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) and base metals in the region.
