Mr. Kevin W. Brown is Senior Vice President - Refining and Oxyfuels of LyondellBasell Industries NV. He leads the company’s global refining and fuels businesses, including manufacturing at the Houston, Texas (USA) and Berre (France) refineries. Mr. Brown was most recently Executive Vice President, Operations for Sinclair Oil Corporation, and he also served on the company’s Board of Directors. Previously, he was Refinery Manager of the Sinclair Tulsa Refinery and began his career with Texaco Refining and Marketing in Louisiana and Texas. Brown has held leadership positions with the petrochemical industry’s trade and advocacy organizations, most recently as Chairman of the Board of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA). Mr. Brown further served on the Refining Subcommittee of the National Petroleum Council (NPC) Committee on Refining and Inventory Issues.

Mr. Massimo Covezzi is Senior Vice President - Research and Development of LyondellBasell Industries NV. Prior to the December 2007 merger of Basell and Lyondell Chemical Company, Mr. Covezzi served as President Research and Development with Basell Polyolefins. In 1983, Mr. Covezzi began his career working for a chromium salt company before joining Basell predecessor company Himont in 1984. At Himont his early assignments focused on engineering and process development. He contributed to the commercialization of Spheripol technology in North America. In 1995, when Himont became part of the Montell joint venture, he was named core technology director for polyethylene; in 1999 he was assigned the same responsibility for polypropylene. In these positions, he coordinated on a worldwide basis all related R&D activities and programs. In May 2005 Mr. Covezzi was appointed president of Research and Development based in Frankfurt for Basell Polyolefins. In April 2004, he was named head of Product and Application Development for Basell and R&D site coordinator in Frankfurt, Germany. From 2001 to 2004 he served as R&D and catalyst manufacturing site coordinator in Ferrara, Italy and head of Manufacturing Platforms within Basell.

Mr. Bhavesh V. Patel is Senior Vice President - Olefins & Polyolefins, Europe, Asia & International of LyondellBasell Industries NV. He was responsible for LyondellBasell’s Feedstock Procurement, Base Chemicals, Polyethylene and Polypropylene businesses in the Americas. Mr. Patel most recently served as General Manager Olefins and NGLs for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. He was responsible for strategic planning, feedstock procurement, base chemicals marketing and pipeline system management, among others. Previously he served as General Manager Asia Pacific Region, based in Singapore, where he led all of the company's activities in the region including joint ventures, manufacturing and marketing. After joining Chevron Phillips Chemical and Chevron Chemical Company in 1990, he held a number of manufacturing, marketing, strategic planning, business management and general management positions. Mr. Patel played a role in the integration of the Chevron Phillips joint venture upon its formation in July 2000. He also was a member of the core team that negotiated and concluded the Americas Styrenics joint venture involving the styrene and polystyrene assets of Chevron Phillips Chemical and The Dow Chemical Company.

Mr. Patrick D. Quarles is Senior Vice President - Intermediates and Derivatives of LyondellBasell Industries NV. He is responsible for LyondellBasell’s chemicals portfolio downstream of the company’s olefins production. These businesses include propylene oxide and its derivatives and co-products as well as acetyls and ethylene oxide and its derivatives. Prior to the December 2007 merger of Basell and Lyondell Chemical Company, Mr. Quarles was Vice President for Performance Chemicals for Lyondell, with global responsibilities for solvents, C4, acetyls and BDO businesses. Mr. Quarles started his career at Lyondell in 1990 and has held various positions in sales, marketing and business management. From 2000 to 2004 he held positions as director, Investor Relations and director, Business Performance Analysis and Reporting.

Mr. Timothy D. Roberts is Senior Vice President - Olefins and Polyolefins, Americas of LyondellBasell Industries NV. He was Vice President of Planning and Development for Chevron Phillips Chemical from February 2011 to May 2011; President and CEO of Americas Styrenics LLC, a joint venture between the Dow Chemical Company and Chevron Phillips Chemical, from May 2008 to February 2011.

Mrs. Karen M. Swindler is Senior Vice President - Manufacturing, Americas of LyondellBasell Industries NV. Prior to the December 2007 merger of Basell and Lyondell Chemical Company, Swindler served as Vice President for Polymers Manufacturing in North America. She became General Manager and Vice President of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) in July 2003. Prior to the Corporate HSE area, she was Director of Global Planning and Scheduling in the Supply Chain Organization. Mrs. Swindler started her career at Lyondell in 1991 as Production Engineer at the Equistar Clinton, Iowa complex. She moved to Channelview as Olefins Plant Manager in March 1999. She has since held various positions in manufacturing, HSE, and strategic planning. Prior to Equistar, she worked for Exxon Chemicals in Baytown, Texas.

Mr. Michael VanDerSnick is Senior Vice President - Manufacturing, EAI of LyondellBasell Industries NV. Site manager of the Company’s Channelview, Matagorda, Chocolate Bayou and Bayport, Texas plants from 2004 to 2012.

Mr. William B. Allen, Jr., is Principal Accounting Officer of LyondellBasell Industries NV., effective April 5, 2013. He previously served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Albemarle Corporation, a global developer, manufacturer, and marketer of specialty chemicals, from 2009 until joining the Company. Prior to that, he held various other financial management positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure with Albemarle including Chief Financial Officer for their Catalysts and Fine Chemistry divisions, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and also Director of Finance for Albemarle’s European operations based in Brussels, Belgium.

Mr. Francesco Svelto is Vice President, Treasurer of LyondellBasell Industries NV. He was Interim Vice President from 2009 to 2010; Divisional Vice President—Business Finance, Polymers for 2008; Treasurer of Basell AF S.C.A. from 2003 to 2007.

Ms. Wendy M. Johnson is Vice President of LyondellBasell Industries NV. She resigned as Chief Accounting Officer on April 5, 2013. She was Vice President and Assistant Controller from January 2008 to June 2010; Director, Global Manufacturing and Accounting from December 2004 to January 2008.

Mr. Sam L. Smolik is Vice President - Health, Safety and Environment of LyondellBasell Industries NV. Mr. Smolik was most recently Smolik was most recently Vice President Global Downstream Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HS&E) of Royal Dutch Shell. Prior to joining Shell, he was Vice President, Global HS&E with The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan and also held a variety of domestic and international leadership positions in manufacturing, site HS&E, process engineering, process control and information systems. Mr. Smolik currently holds a number of leadership positions with organizations including the University of Texas at Austin (Engineering Advisory Board), World Environment Center (Board of Directors), Antwerp International School Foundation (President, Board of Directors), Ducks Unlimited (Conservation Programs Committee) and the Coastal Conservation Association (Foundation Committee).

Mr. Robin W. T. Buchanan is Director of LyondellBasell Industries NV.
