About the company

Capitan Silver Corp is a Canadian gold-silver mining exploration company. The Company’s business activity is the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Mexico. It is engaged in exploring its 100%-owned, high-grade silverCruz de Plata Project in Durango, located right in the heart of Mexico’s silver belt. The Cruz de Plata Project includes an oxide gold prospect (referred to as El Capitan) and two historic silver mines (Jesus Maria and San Rafael) located in the historic Penoles Mining District of Durango, Mexico. The Cruz de Plata project has completed approximately 86 diamond drill holes totaling more than 11,550 meters. Its Jesus Maria (JM) silver deposit is located approximately 280m to the northeast of the Capitan deposit. The Company's subsidiary is Rios de Suerte S.A. de C.V.
