About the company

Khonburi Sugar Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company. The Company is principally engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of sugar, which is sold both domestically and overseas. The Company operates a comprehensive sugar production and distribution business, planning and operating to link agricultural and industrial mechanisms together. The Company operates through three segments. The sugar cane segment is engaged in the production and distribution of sugar cane and related services, such as the provision of agricultural machines and vehicles (sugar cane harvesters and tractors) to planters who sell sugar cane to the Company. The sugar and molasses trading segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of sugar, molasses and by-products. The utilities segment generates electricity and steam, whereby bagasse is used as a main fuel. Its subsidiaries include Khonburi Power Plant Co., Ltd., KBS Trading Co., Ltd., Khonburi Bio Energy Co., Ltd. and KBS Investment Co., Ltd.
