About the company

Fruticola Viconto SA is a Chile-based company primarily engaged in the production, marketing and export of fresh and frozen fruit. The Company owns such plantations as Maipo, Viluco, Los Pretiles and San Agustin, which together represent an area of 469.15 hectares, as well as the Casablanca field with a total of 8.31 hectares, which are located in the central region of Chile. Its fresh and frozen products portfolio includes apples, pears, nectarines, plums, apricots, cherries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwis, asparagus, avocados, lemons and grapes, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held a 50% stake in Comercial Greenvic SA, and Rentas Santa Barbara SA was its major shareholder with 26.71% of its interest.
