To achieve long-term capital growth for shareholders through investment mainly in smaller UK quoted companies.

Management & contract fees

BlackRock receives an annual fee which is calculated based on 0.65% in respect of the first GBP 50m of the Company's total assets less current liabilities, reducing to 0.5% thereafter. A performance fee is payable at the rate of 10% of the annualised excess performance relative to the benchmark in the two previous financial years, applied to the average of the total assets less current liabilities of the Company. The fee is payable annually in April and is capped at 0.25% of the average of the total assets less current liabilities.
