Diatreme Resources Ltd is an Australia-based producer of mineral and silica sands based in Brisbane. Its projects include the Galalar Silica Project, the Cyclone Zircon Project, and Clermont Copper/Gold Project. Its flagship project, Galalar Silica Project, is located approximately 200 kilometers north of Cairns and the silica sand mine at Cape Flattery in Far North Queensland. Galalar Silica Project is engaged in producing silica for the solar panel market. Cyclone Zircon Project is situated in Western Australia on the Barton shoreline along the northern margin of the Eucla Basin, approximately 25 km from Western Australia’s state border with South Australia and 220 kilometers north of the transcontinental railway. Clermont Copper/Gold Project is located around the town of Clermont in central Queensland for exploring porphyry copper/gold and mesothermal gold. Northern Silica project is capable of producing silica for the Asian solar panel markets.
