About the company

PacifiCorp is an electric utility company. It is engaged in generating, transmitting, distributing and selling electricity. Its combined service territory covers over 141,500 square miles and includes diverse regional economies across six states. It serves over 2.1 million retail electric customers in portions of Utah, Oregon, Wyoming, Washington, Idaho and California. In the eastern portion of the service territory, including Utah, Wyoming and southeastern Idaho, the principal industries are manufacturing, mining or extraction of natural resources, agriculture, technology, recreation and government. In the western portion of the service territory, including Oregon, southern Washington and northern California, the principal industries are agriculture, manufacturing, forest products, food processing, technology, government and primary metals. Its subsidiaries provide coal mining services for electric utility operations. It develops Arco wind and solar project in southeast Idaho.
