Quadrise is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bryan Kaye Sanderson CBE as an independent non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

 

Mr. Sanderson has extensive experience in the energy, chemicals and financial sectors, having spent more than 35 years with BP in senior executive positions, latterly as Managing Director from 1991 to 2000 and as Chief Executive of BP Chemicals from 1990 to 2000.

 

Since retiring from BP in 2000, Mr. Sanderson has held the position of Chairman at Standard Chartered Bank, the Learning and Skills Council, BUPA, Northern Rock and Sunderland Area Regeneration. Mr. Sanderson was also previously a non-executive director of Corus/British Steel, Six Continents and Argus Media. He is currently Interim Chairman of the UK Government's Low Pay Commission and holds a number of other board positions. 

 

Mr. Sanderson holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, where he is currently an Emeritus Governor, as well as Honorary Doctorates from the University of York and the University of Sunderland. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.

1.   Mr. Sanderson was appointed as a director of Cella Energy Limited on 28 September 2011 and resigned as a director of that Company on 18 February 2014. Cella Energy Limited was placed into administration on 6 June 2014 and dissolved on 17 March 2016. The deficiency as regards creditors was approximately £128,000.

 

2.   Mr. Sanderson was appointed as a director of Oxford Policy Institute on 23 April 2009. Oxford Policy Institute was placed into creditors voluntary liquidation on 21 August 2012 and dissolved on 28 January 2014. The deficiency as regards creditors was approximately £156,000.
