In conformity with the Transparency Directive the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 30^th April 2019 the Company's share capital consists of 132,363,525 Ordinary 25 pence shares. The Company holds 9,853,194 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore as at 30^th April 2019, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary shareholders in JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc is 122,510,331.

The above figure (122,510,331) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
