Voting Rights and Capital
In conformity with Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Witan Investment Trust plc (the "Company") notifies the market of the following:
As at 31 July 2019, the capital with voting rights of the Company consisted of 877,102,821 ordinary shares of 5p with each ordinary share holding one voting right. The Company has 123,252,179 shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 877,102,821.
The figure above may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the voting rights of Witan Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
