Further to the announcement made on 29 November 2019, the Board of The European Investment Trust plc (the "Company") advises that the Company has today changed its name to Baillie Gifford European Growth Trust plc.
The Company's ticker will change from EUT to BGEU with effect from 3 December 2019. The Company's ISIN and SEDOL will remain unchanged.
