Ferrexpo Special Interim Dividend

In line with prior years, Ferrexpo is pleased to announce a special interim dividend of 6.6 US cents (2018: 6.6 US cents; 2017: 3.3 US cents).

The special dividend reflects the Group's strong cash generation ability and the Board's strategy to maintain a balance between sustainable and attractive shareholder returns, investment in growth opportunities and balance sheet strength.

To date, total dividends declared in respect of the 2019 financial year amount to 13.2 US cents, or approximately US$80million. This consists of an ordinary interim dividend of 6.6 US cents (2018: 3.3 US cents) declared in August 2019 and today's special interim dividend of 6.6 US cents (2018: 6.6 US cents).

The Board of Ferrexpo will consider the final dividend for the 2019 financial year ahead of the Group's full year results announcement on 18 March 2020.

The interim special dividend will be paid on 17 January 2020 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 10 January 2020.  It will be paid in UK Pounds Sterling, with an election to receive in US Dollars.
