Federal Grid Company AGM to take place on 15 May 2020 in absentia
Moscow, 06 April 2020 - Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System ("Federal Grid Company" or "the Company") (Moscow Exchange, LSE: FEES), part of PJSC ROSSETI Group of Companies, and the owner and operator of the Unified National Electricity Grid ("UNEG"), announces that its Board of Directors has set the date for its Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held in absentia on 15 May 2020.
The decision by the Board of Directors to hold the meeting in absentia was made in light of measures taken to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and in view of the law authorising Russian joint stock companies to conduct general shareholder meetings by absentee ballot in 2020.
The record date for shareholders entitled to participate in the AGM is 20 April 2020.
The agenda for the AGM will be announced in due course following approval by the Board of Directors.
