Appointment of Trish Houston as Chief Operating Officer

Law Debenture is pleased to announce that Trish Houston has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer ("COO") and to the Board of the Company as an Executive Director effective from 2 September 2020.

Trish is a Chartered Accountant and brings almost 20 years' experience in Financial Services and high-growth businesses. Most recently, she was a member of the senior management team at JDX Consulting Limited, where she had Executive responsibility for HR, IT and Facilities and oversaw the merger of three businesses. Previously, Trish was COO of Logical Glue Limited, a disruptive Machine Learning predictive analytics SAS platform, and co-founded the technology company Scaled Networks. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP before moving to Ruffer LLP where Trish held several senior roles including Partner, Global Head of HR and Global Head of Risk.  There is no information required to be disclosed by Trish in accordance with section 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules. 

As previously announced, Hester Scotton will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer following the departure of Katie Thorpe on September 11^th while Kelly Stobbs was recently promoted to General Counsel.

Hester has a strong track record across multiple finance disciplines and industries including experience at Legal & General, Bupa and Mark & Spencer. Since joining Law Debenture in 2019 as Head of Internal Controls & Group MLRO, Hester has worked closely with Katie and the Independent Professional Services ("IPS") Business Heads to reduce operational and financial risk and drive business growth.

Kelly brings a wealth of experience within legal and compliance gained during her tenure at HSBC and Herbert Smith Freehills. She joined Law Debenture from Deloitte where she acted as a Director within the firm's Legal and Tax practice.
