Appointment of Nomad & Joint-Brokers

Shanta Gold (AIM: SHG), the East Africa-focused gold producer, developer and explorer, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Liberum Capital Limited as Nominated Adviser and Joint-Broker, and Tamesis Partners LLP as Joint-Broker. Both appointments are effective immediately.

The Company makes the following disclosure pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies:

Anthony Durrant is currently a Director of the following companies: The Global Fashion Directory Limited, The Garden Cafe Limited and was previously a Director of Conrico Distribution Ltd in the five years prior to his appointment to the Shanta Board of Directors. Luke Leslie was previously a Director of MSE Liquidity Fund in the five years prior to his appointment to the Shanta Board of Directors.
