Appointment of Executive Director

Brewin Dolphin is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Ferry as Executive Director of the Company. He will join the Board at the Company's AGM on 5 February 2021.

Charles joined Brewin Dolphin in 2008 as a Divisional Director, became Co-Head of Private Clients in 2016 and Managing Director of Private Clients in 2017. In 2020, he was appointed Managing Director of Wealth and Investment and in this role he is responsible for Wealth and Investment services across Brewin Dolphin, which includes all offices within the group, the intermediaries business and the marketing and research departments.

Charles Ferry's appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to the appointment.

In addition, Phillip Monks will be appointed as a member of the Risk Committee with immediate effect.  He will take over the role of Chair of the Risk Committee at the conclusion of the AGM in February 2021, subject to regulatory approval.
