She possesses more than 34 years of extensive and varied experience in the Government of India encompassing infrastructure, rural development, textiles, commercial intelligence and statistics, commodity markets and micro, small and medium enterprises.
Her last stint was as financial adviser and member of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, wherein her role was to advise the Commission on all financial matters, and ensure efficient allocation of public resources to the schemes with high potential for job creation and growth.
