New Revolving Credit Facility

The Board of The Mercantile Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce that it has today entered into a two year revolving credit facility for £100 million with the London Branch of The Bank of Nova Scotia.
This facility is in addition to the existing £178.85 million (at par value) of long dated debt instruments already in issue by the Company and will be used to provide portfolio gearing.
The Company's existing gearing range of 10% net cash to 20% geared remains unchanged.
