Compliance with US Executive Order 13959
In November 2020 the United States government issued Executive Order 13959, which prohibits U.S. persons from engaging in any transaction in publicly traded securities in Communist Chinese military companies (as well as certain related securities) and which will first become effective on 11 January 2021.
Schroders, the Company's Investment Manager, as a group complies with US Sanctions and hence will be taking steps to comply with the Executive Order. The Board and Investment Manager are closely monitoring this matter as it continues to evolve. None of the Company's current portfolio holdings are affected by the Executive Order.
