Mitsubishi Electric Announces Changes in Representative Executive Officers,

TOKYO, February 18, 2021 - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that, at its general meeting of the Board of Directors held today, resolved the changes of Representative Executive Officers, Executive Officers and Directors as well as their division of duties, and also various organizational reforms effective April 1, 2021.

5. Organizational Reform (effective April 1, 2021)

(1) Establishment of Process & Operation Reform Group

The Company will establish the Process & Operation Reform Group under the direct control of the President to transform Group operations by leveraging data and digital technology for improved business efficiency and productivity, including by upgrading mainstream business processes at the core of this transformation and overseeing related measures concerning IT systems.

 

(2) Establishment of Corporate Communication Group

The Company will establish the Corporate Communication Group under the direct control of the President to strengthen Group-wide sustainability, improve brand value and enhance stakeholder engagement by strengthening communication regarding sustainability planning and related promotional, public relations and advertising functions.
