ISSUANCE OF SENIOR UNSECURED NOTES

HSBC Holdings plc has today issued £1,000,000,000 1.750% Fixed Rate/Floating Rate Senior Unsecured Notes due 2027 (the 'Notes') pursuant to an indenture dated 26 August 2009 (as amended or supplemented from time to time and as most recently amended and supplemented by a twentieth supplemental indenture dated 24 March 2021).

Application will be made to list the Notes on the New York Stock Exchange.
