Placing of 3,675,000 ordinary shares in Mortgage Advice Bureau (Holdings) plc

("MAB" or the "Company")

Peter Brodnicki and David Preece (together, the "Sellers"), both of whom are PDMRs of the Company, have sold, subject to completion, 3,075,000 and 600,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company respectively (the "Placing Shares") at a price of 1,100 pence per share (the "Placing"). The Placing Shares represent approximately 6.9 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. The Placing was carried out in response to strong institutional demand in the Company's shares.

Following completion of the Placing, Peter Brodnicki will hold 10,401,227 ordinary shares in MAB, representing 19.6 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital and David Preece will hold 924,800 ordinary shares in MAB, representing 1.7 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Peter Brodnicki and David Preece have agreed that they will not, for a period of 180 days following the Placing, offer, sell or otherwise transfer any remaining MAB shares without the consent of Numis and Peel Hunt, subject to certain customary exceptions.

The proceeds of the Placing are payable in cash and will be settled on a T+2 basis (unless otherwise agreed), and settlement of the Placing is expected to occur on or about 31 March 2021.

The Company will not receive any proceeds from the Placing.
