BT Group plc Board and Committee changes                

 

BT Group plc ("BT") today announced that Mike Inglis has decided not to put himself forward for re-election as a non-executive director at the 2021 Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), having served on the Board for almost six years. Accordingly, Mike will cease being a non-executive director at the conclusion of the AGM on or around 15 July 2021.

Jan du Plessis, BT's Chairman, said "On behalf of the Board, I thank Mike for his contribution to the Board in his time at BT, during which he has served as a highly active member of the Board, sitting at various times as a member of virtually all our committees - the Audit & Risk, Nominations, Remuneration, BT Compliance and Digital Impact & Sustainability Committees."

In addition, Sara Weller CBE will become a member of the BT Compliance Committee, with immediate effect.
